Transmission shift lever is stuck in H gear and cannot be moved despite attempts to shift using pedals. Issue occurred on new tractor.
2009 TYM 353. what "safety" systems will shut off the injection pump? it will start and then after a couple seconds it will shut off. I've bought it new in 09. had just a handful of small issues. Safety switch in the seat was bypassed years ago after the first winter where the water in the seat froze and caused it to shut down as soon as you let off the brake. earlier this year i had to bypass the brain box on the dash for the starter solenoid signal. It's latest issue is shutting the engine down after about 3 or 4 seconds. it might do it repeatedly until the battery goes dead and then it might be fine for 2 weeks. haven't seen a pattern of engine warm or cold. brake pedal depressed and it still shuts down. I've looked multiple times in the past for a wiring diagram to that control box but never found anything that matched up. i would really love to bypass it all together but don't have a couple days to map out and trace each wire. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks I have a video of it but it wont let me upload it for some reason.
I have a tym t574 and was lifting some pallets that were far under what the tractor is rated for by a long ways. It would not lift them so I found a guy on YouTube that turned up his hydraulic pressure. So I got a gauge and my pressure was about 500psi under what the dealer told me it should be. The first photo shows the screw that I adjusted, which is also the screw the guy on YouTube adjusted. When I done that nothing happened to the pressure at all. So I asked my dealer and they told me that was not the correct screw to adjust but couldn’t tell me what the screw I adjusted did. So I’m wondering if anyone knows what I adjusted, and how to check that I did not mess anything up. Dealer told me the adjustment is on the loader valve itself but I can’t seem to find that anywhere. They told me the older 574 had a different style loader valve and it was very simple. So the second photo is the one I have and I’m curious if anyone knows where that adjustment is. I’m new to tractors, and have realized not to listen to the first guy on YouTube lol. TIA
New to tractoring; just picked up this 2021 TYM 474HC and grabbed a stump grinder and wood chipper. When utilizing these on the PTO should I engage the PTO at low engine RPM and then throttle up to the PTO range or engage the PTO with the engine already at high RPM? The former seems the wiser but I also know when/if you run auto PTO it would make sense to maintain a constant RPM. My thoughts are that since both of these tools have a heavy flywheel it would make sense to engage them slower and then throttle up.
I have a 2022 TYM 474HST tractor with the BY75 backhoe attachment. The valve body in the pedestal is leaking from the spool valve that controls the right stabilizer arm. I have contacted TYM to ask what size and type seal is used and their reply was that it was not a serviceable part and to contact a dealer to get a new valve body. Yeah, not gonna do that. Short of buying an assortment set of hydraulic seals does anyone know what size and type seal it would require to fix it?
