Couple months ago we bought this Ford New Holland 4835, which seemed like a good deal at the time but since then we've spent more time fixing and replacing parts than actually using the thing. Here's an issue that stumped us, though. It all started when the PTO control assembly burst open mid-use, for which I've already ordered a replacement. Upon removing the hand throttle to access the trim underneath, we've managed to let loose the previously jammed lift-o-matic control box. The little knob that needs to be pulled to access the lever was pushed in and arranged in a way that kept the lever shut in, causing the box to be inoperable. By rearranging this, we've actuated the lift-o-matic controls, which is when we found out this thing even existed in the first place. The issue is, that there seems to be a pin missing in this box, which causes the little knob, seen on the left in the pictures to move freely (unless jammed back in behind the larger lever part). We temporarily added a broken lynch pin where holes align on that side of the assembly as seen in the pictures and this restricts movement of both parts, the knob no longer falling out, but the lever also not going back all the way. While this seems completely acceptable mechanically, as in, it seems to perform the desired motion, with it configured this way, the actual electrical actuation isn't being performed correctly, i.e.: the lift-o-matic system stays in the "up" position all the time. When the pin is not in place, it can be pushed all the way back and therefore it can operate correctly, however the knob eventually falls out, causing the system to fail. We've been struggling to find any information on this system with out best source being a vague diagram that doesn't actually show a pin in that position. Does anyone here happen to know how this is supposed to be configured correctly? The whole thing seems to only be pulling a metal wire, so with the pin in, we could probably adjust the wire to actua...
