DEF pump failure with error codes E5 4346 and E31 4374

My new toy (MF 4710)
low

I've had it for a little over a month now, I really like the front loader, looks very sturdy and it's rated for 1900kg (4200 lbs), I'm not a big fan of the the engine tho, which I believe is a 3 cylinder 3.3L that delivers 100hp. Idk, I haven't done any serious work with it yet, but so far I can say it behaves they way it's supposed to, it sure is nice to have a cab when it rains

Regen on a MF4710 (without a button?)
low

So I'm getting errors E5 4346 and E31 4374, and dealer tech said the def pump needs to be replaced, but told me on the side that he thought simply getting a def/dpf delete tool would make more sense as it would be cheaper than the cost for having the shop replace it. Not to mention better (less) fuel consumption, and also increased HP. After doing some research, I'm wondering if maybe the issue is (even if partly) due to needed a regen? I'm not even sure if that's applicable to this model, as there is no button as there seems to be in all the videos online. But I've read its possible to manually do it (somehow?) I've already drained the tank and replaced the urea filter, and it didn't help. I will opt to just delete the def if this doesnt go anywhere, but that'll still cost just under $2k. I figure if its just an issue of needing to somehow manually regen, ill stick with the current setup for now using def, until the dumb system fucks me in another way that ill have to just delete it
