Have had JD Mowers for 30+ years. Bought a new S160 on 9/2024 from JD Dealer. Two years later I had a POS with no support from JD Dealer, LandPro, where we bought it. I'll just name the problems in the first two years. Day One, Zerks cross-threaded and unusable. They gave me some more to install myself. All hood bumpers eaten away by rubbing on frame. Fuel/Gas gauge quit working w/in 6 months. No replacement available because everyone else's had broken. More Brakes quit working, brake rod broken in two at 8 months, installed upside down. Took to LandPro and was told Warranty expired yesterday. Engine acting up, running like it would blow up. Took off Air Filter and the Carb Choke Plate flew out the Air Filter Input Port! Replaced Carb, 6 months later the engine threw a rod and was destroyed. Hauled away yesterday with $3400.00 out the window. Went and bought a Cub Cadet. So far so good. Got my fingers crossed, but will never buy another John Deere Mower!!!!
