Picked up this John Deere lx172 off of marketplace was riding around and oil started leaking out took the facade off and saw this all four bolts have been dropped from the oil pan and the gasket is actually coming out how difficult is it going to be to get this unit reassembled do I have to take the whole engine off to get to it because it looks like the oil pan is resting against the brace and I can't drop it from underneath I've never had to take an entire motor off and would prefer not to unless I have to any advice or a point in the right direction would be appreciated

I have the correct plow blade for a John Deere Lx172 lawn tractor, but I'm having trouble attaching it. I've read the instructions and watched a video and it seems I'm attempting to do it correctly. However I am running into a problem not addressed in the instructions or video. The first photo attached is a screenshot from the instructional video, the second is a picture of mine. When I'm trying to attach the plow arm to the frame of the tractor, the bolt circled in red is partially behind the arm, and it doesn't allow the arm to sit directly flush up against the frame. I'm thinking of buying a spacer to compensate, but thought I'd try my luck but asking here before I head to the store to buy one. In the screenshot from the instruction video you can also see that same bolt, and it's very close to the same situation I am facing but the author of the video didn't go so far as to actually attach the arm, and therefore didn't address the problem I am having. Is there something different I should be doing to attach this?
