I have been looking to ugrade my lawnmower from a GT242 to something bigger. My neighbor is selling his house and offered to sell me his tractor. I was wondering what a fair price is. He is asking $2900 JD445 54" deck 800 hours Hyst is leaking, developed a coolant leak when I test drove it. I should be able to fix these issues myself. Barring any major component failures. Date written on the Hystat filter was 2007. I'm not sure about the service interval on that. I will have to get the engine SN from him to know if it is a plastic cam gear or not. Thanks
