Known Issues
Starter solenoid would not lift the starter flywheel. After solenoid replacement, recurring electrical issues including diagnostic codes 3-7 (Output Fault Detected) and 3-2 (Low voltage) have appeared. Starter and solenoid verified functional when directly connected to battery.

What is sad is that I just junked my John Deere 110 from 1970. I used if for 12 seasons and only broke one belt and re-did the deck bearings. The transaxle seals were shot and the old Kohler 181 series engine needed $500 in parts and machine work. After reading up on newer tractors, I see that the entry level 1970 quality tractor cannot be purchased at any price. I'm looking for a new old John Dee
