Transmission failure with power steering loss and overheating
high

Late 1990s 6600 euro experienced complete transmission failure during road operation. Power steering cut out, rear end pulsed and overheated significantly. Inspection revealed bearing failure, clutch material, and spring debris in transmission fluid. Issue traced to internal bearing wear with excessive play (half inch).

As traditional as it is to have old equipment sitting around I am looking to clean up the yard which includes a couple of JD 6600s with the engines still in them. Most of the engines are still in decent shape and I don't really know how to go about selling or scraping them. I know scrap prices are non-existent right now so I'd prefer to not simply take them to a junkyard. Does anyone know a place near Eastern Nebraska that takes them?
