This recall involves Attachment Kits for John Deere Brooms that are used with model 1023E, 1025R, and 2025R Compact Utility Tractors. The John Deere Attachment Kits were sold separately and have a label with BLV10795 printed on the box.

6068T engine overheats when new OEM 180F thermostat installed, running 190-195F without load and reaching 209F during inspection. Runs cool without thermostat. Water pump, sensor, and cap already replaced. Radiator and coolant are clean.

While running, clutch engagement is extremely narrow - only functional halfway between low and high positions. Engine dies if clutched too low or too high. Cannot shift beyond 2nd gear without issues. Indicates clutch or transmission control problem.

Blades and deck will not start. This is reported as a recent problem, suggesting possible clutch engagement failure or electrical issue with the PTO system.

Engine oil contaminating the coolant system. Oil cooler pressure tested good, cylinder head had minor warpage but no cracks and pressure tested good, head gasket showed no signs of leakage. Source of contamination between oil and coolant circuits undetermined.
