Known Issues
Z445 with Kawasaki FH721 engine exhibits charging issue where the stator and voltage regulator do not charge the battery above 11.66V despite replacement of both components. Battery will not hold charge between uses without trickle charger.

I just got a call from JD dealer that my Z445 with ONLY 69 hours has to have the hydraulic pump replaced. It was making a vibrating noise when turning either way. It is OK when the engine is cold, but the noise comes once the engine warms up. I am really disappointed with JD product. Being out of warranty, it will cost me $1,600 to get it fixed. I paid $5,000 new. I will never buy a JD again.
