Known Issues
Has anyone dealt with this or know what has happened?
I have a John Deere 8440 only turns left. three point is on the floor. no hydraulic controls. Goes into gear forward and reverse perfectly fine. I’m really hoping to pick someone’s brain about this and maybe get some ideas of whether or not my hydraulic pump has decided to leave
So i need help finding where to drain and fill new oil/hydraulic fluid in my tractor! Also new filters! I'm focusing on the front axel and the transmission/hydraulic system. I am led to believe that the front axel is separated so I'm not sure where the drain and fill locations are. I am also told that the transmission and hydraulic systems are interlinked? So you only need the special fluids for that system, but I'm also unsure of where to drain from and fill. Could anybody give me some tips? Maybe even a source for a diagram or something? Thanks
