Known Issues
Engine temperature climbed very high within 20 minutes of mowing, causing tractor to shut down and fail to start. Issue persisted after flushing radiator, changing thermostat, rebuilding radiator, replacing water pump, radiator cap, and belt.
Tractor overheating during initial runs of the season. Thermostat replacement did not resolve the issue, indicating probable water pump failure. User reported hearing a rattle/dry noise when first starting the tractor, potentially an early indicator of water pump degradation.
Small leak detected on lift pump body and engine block interface. User suspects air ingress into fuel system at low idle when engine is hot may be contributing to idle issues.
After running at PTO speed for extended periods, when throttle is reduced to idle, engine will not maintain idle and requires throttle adjustment until engine cools sufficiently. Issue occurs when engine is hot.
When using only the foot pedal, the hand throttle lever becomes engaged and RPMs increase. User must manually push the lever up to disengage it. Issue developed after initial purchase. User has lubricated components and attempted manual reset without resolution.
